Carlota book design

Designing abuela Carlota’s book made us feel part of her family. Each page is full of flavor and wisdom that seeks to transcend generations. Sharing family stories with Carmen and María Fernanda filled us with love. And that is what we sought out to communicate in every little detail, representing abuela in every corner. “Abuela’s hair had a blueish grey tone, like the blue of the flor de papa or the flor azulina”, this is the reason why we used that flower along the design and that color became the main color.
